The Philips AED HS1 defibrillator is most often purchased by schools, offices, institutions, and households. Automatic daily, weekly, and monthly checks ensure the defibrillator is always ready for use. A long-lasting lithium battery ensures the defibrillator's efficient operation for at least 4 years (or 200 shocks). The Philips AED HS1 defibrillator has a very useful training function, allowing it to be used as a training defibrillator (this is a feature that distinguishes this AED in the defibrillator market). To use the AED HS1 as a training defibrillator, special training pads (training cartridge) must be used. After installing the training cartridge, training mode is automatically activated.
