What should an AED kit contain?

A well-equipped AED defibrillator should include, in addition to the mandatory electrodes, a resuscitation kit.

The AED resuscitation kit includes:

• disposable gloves,
• paper towel to dry your chest,
• a disposable razor to shave off excess hair where the electrodes are attached
• a mask for artificial respiration (a regular mouthpiece mask will suffice)
• scissors
